Check out this new video tutorial which goes over some useful mind map tips in Curio 8.
One thing I forgot to point out regarding Manual Child Coloring versus Automatic Child Coloring is that manual is a one-time operation. It copies the colors of the parent down to its children just that one time. If you change the parent's colors the children won't update themselves. However, with automatic coloring the children will dynamically update themselves any time the parent's coloring changes in any way.
